As a way of bringing the attention of gardeners to the Burmese people's struggle, she has hybridized and registered Hemerocallis 'Free Burma'. The money raised through the sale of this and two related Daylilies – the Burma Collection - is being donated to the Mae Tao Clinic via the Just Aid Foundation.
